Re: It's Home !

"dean i can get that for ya on saturday, my trucks on the lift, i drove my 78 two weeks ago and man it drives nice with kp link, killer smooth, dean what size wheel are you running on the rear? you should have no problem with 20 or bigger i would think, but i will measure it for ya, dino"

Thanks Dino, that would be awesome. I don't think it will fit from looking at pictures, but i hope so. Currently i'm running a 17 by 11" rim with 315/35/17 dunlops. I may upgrade to 20's someday, we'll see if i can find some i like.

Thank you.

I'm basically looking for the ride height measurement and tire height, but I'll take whatever other measurements you can throw our way. Thank you, sir.

A couple days 'til lift off...

Re: It's Home !

Dino, who helped you with the rims and tires on youre truck? I have an 86 GMC shortbed fleetside and want to put 22s in the back and 20s up front. Or do you know of anyone that could help me with the backspacing and tire sizing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Love youre ride its awesome. Im also in Phoenix in Avondale on the west side, I would love to find some friends who like to work on trucks and maybe join a club? Any ideas of any truck clubs? Thanks Michael.

20x8.5 with a 5.4" backspacing and a 255 35R20 works good up front, and 22x9 with a 5.5" backspacing and a 285 30R22 on the rear. Of course, there's a Dropmember up front on Dino's truck. Here's a link to another C10 with smoothies... same sizes as mentioned above.

Re: It's Home !

Thanks Porterbuilt, I have looked at youre site the last couple of days and you guys do great work I was really impressed with all of the details on the suspension set-up. I have an airide system on my truck and was thinking of putting the leveling system? Do you think this is a good product and how much do you think it would cost to have you guys install it on my truck? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Michael Hill.
