you just have to tear it down and figure it out...its not rocket science.....its easy..i have been doing frame and body work for close to ten years, there is no way to tell what is exactly wrong with your truck. untill its tore down.. and from pictures good luck.... TEAR IT DOWN

I think you're looking for an easy out. There's not gonna be an easy out. You are going to have to take the fender off and see what all is damaged, then replace the damaged pieces. Or, you have to take the truck to a body shop and pay them dearly to take the fender off and replace everything damaged.

Can't tell much from the pics here but looks like you may have damaged the hood, bumper, and core support. Depending on how hard the hit was, it may have shoved the fender back towards the cab and messed up you'r door some. Can't say for sure on that one. Just tear it down and see.

Don't be afraid to take a fender off. It's not that hard to do. A few bolts and a little patience is all it takes. You know you're going to have to at least replace the fender. You'r truck is a GMC so any fender from a 68-72 GMC or 68 chevy will work (67 fenders will fit but they don't have the marker light). The color won't match unless you paint it but at least you'll be able to drive it without a big dent. If you'r getting offers for free parts, take them.

Please don't double post or triple post.......it creates a mess that no one can or will bother to follow. The only reason that I am not merging them now is that it will make a bigger mess out of a post that had several people trying to help and even offering parts.

Just because everyone got bored because the post ran into the ground... is not a reason to start a new one on the same subject. Just look at it, the last 3 posts in a row are yours, 3 days apart, with no response. It was asked and answered

No it's not totaled. Well...maybe not. The question shouldn't be "Is it totaled?" The question should be "Is it fixable?" And from the damage I've seen, I'd say it is fixable. The thing is YOU just have to be willing to get off your butt and do some work on it. No one is going to caudle you and hold your hand. Don't be lazy about it, quit asking us "how much its gonna cost" and "what all is damaged" and stuff like that. Quit whining and go fix it.

It is nowhere near totalled. Even if you had to replace the whole front clip ( which is a job that can be done in an afternoon) it is worth fixing. Find a clip local to you, and replace it.

Hook a chain up to that post and throw it in reverse.If you go the exact speed it should pull right out.It`s paintless dent repair.

We understand that you wrecked your truck, and you don't know what to do. We also understand that your a kid in school, trying to work part time and keep your grades up.

The question is what are "you" going to do about it? You want help fixing your truck? I'll bet if you asked someone in your area might be willing to help you out. Show some effort to improve your situation, and I think you would surprised at the generosity of the people around you.

i think i will just drive down there and fix it for you..how far is North Carolina from Indianapolis? i tell you what.. im gonna go out on a limb, i have two rust free fenders , a rust free Hood. and a core support i will GIVE you, you pay shipping...........one better you drive that thing to me and i will put it all on for you >NO B.S im serious......P.M if your serious.........tony or call me 317 679 5459

Agreed, that's why I didn't.....and I am usually pretty quick to do that. The old thread that was refered was 15 pages back when I looked. I figured that it was better left dead and try to get the guy some help, but try to keep him from doing it again at the same time.

I still get a chuckle from the "dinged" comment though.
