Those wheels on that thing look creepy-real.
I'm gonna have to take some shots of mine this weekend.

The orange one is almost complete it started out to be a longbed and Mad it a shortbed and the other is a 65 I'm building for my wifes truck since thats what we have or what it will be when done. I still have to completely wire the engine and compartments and finish detail the Orange 72.

Re: modelers show us yours
^^ nice job on the replica nova manimal! also like your monza flopper
built about 150 cars & trucks when i was a kid, but they all exploded, burnt up by the time i was 15. started building them again bout 20 yrs ago. some old ones need to be re-done, & yeah, mine are dusty too. the red stepper is a replica of my daily like my cars old skool, blower or ram, no hood, big n littles & jacked in the back i swiped some monster tires from one of my sons toys & built the 55 nomad truck between the monster trucks the nomad truck started life out as a 55 nomad wagon, like the dropped yellow one |

Re: modelers show us yours
a few more
the blazer is a replica of my old K5. it's a little bit of work, but you CAN get those backwards hogs mounted the right way the van was the vantasy 2wd that i converted to 4wd (37" hummer tires) since i'm a roofer, had to make a tar pot (scratch built) the beat up 57 was modeled after my neighbors beast. i spread real engine grime from my truck on it, & like a real car, it drips! the ONLY model my wife built, the purple/pink nova |

Re: modelers show us yours
something different. an old lady's husband died & she came into the wife's office for death benefits. turned out he had about 100 old (60's, 70's) sailing ships un opened & unbuilt. she was going to sell them to pay for a headstone. my wife found where she could get more money & not sell his models. she was so happy she came back the next day & gave my wife a 1974 model sailing ship frigate USS United States.
it's taken me a year to get most of the hull done. there's 5 decks & it's a slow go. if the old lady is still alive when i get it done, i plan on giving it back to her. she complained about the space they took up & how he never built one |
