Re: 55 project thread
awsome truck. can you give a little info on how you smoothed the firewall? I`m looking at a 55 now that somoene has butchered the firewall to put "hang down" pedals in. I think it would be easier to smooth it then to repair it back to stock. thanks.

Re: 55 project thread
Very nice work, I just joined the site and I'm using your pictures as my targets of what I want to do (can't hit a target if you don't have one). I just started the frame-up restoration of an original 55 Napco 4x4 and I'm planning many of the same things that you've done, so thanks for the pics. Nice job!

Re: 55 project thread
After a fierce battle with the motor mounts from hell I finally got them in, To my dismay the truck did not leave the battle unharmed....

Re: 55 project thread
I got my hands on a dana rear end from one of my old mans buddies, He is a hardcore camaro guy and had all this work done but when the time finally came he ran into some problems, Its already been cut down and has a heavy duty disk brake system. Ive always wanted to 4-link the truck but the rear end I had was crap and I didnt feel like spending lots of money on a crap rear end. Now I can jam some fat rims and tires in the back *yay*
