Re: Randomhero's Build Thread.. finally!!!
well im going to seek the people opinion.. Im having a delima between running 22" wheels on the back, or running 20" all the way around.. im just affraid a 22 might stand out a little to much, take attention away from some of the subtle things done to truck, and also i dont want the truck to have a really raked stance, not to mention going w/all 20's would save me over $500... but what do you guys think??

Re: Randomhero's Build Thread.. finally!!!
price wise id go 20 all around but for looks i think the 22 in the rear will be fine and make the tuck look more even

Not only going 20" in the rear saving you 500 on rimes think of all the tire replacement costs

I looked at your truck pics probably 10 times before I realized the rears were 22s. You can hardly tell when aired out... That said, I still kinda wish I had done 22s.

Aired out on 22's. But I know what we discussed earlier. We can always go back and change things.

Re: Randomhero's Build Thread.. finally!!!
John is a long time friend of mine that we had lost touch for probably 10yrs now. He found me on this board, go figure of all the places. He wants me to do his 2wd Blazer too. Hell no I am not going to get another one done for Goodguys if that is what you are asking.
No progress today, I was home sick yesterday and played catch up all day today. Funny how nothing can be done while I am gone. Makes you wonder how they operated before I started there. ? Random (Luke Skywalker) funny logo there of Mr. T!! |

Re: Randomhero's Build Thread.. finally!!!
Okay little update for my customer. Got the front end disassembled, few bolt tragedies along the way. I guess you would expect that from a 40 yr old truck. The inside of the fenders are sanded and ready for some rust kill then epoxy. Same for the hood, sanded and ready for rust kill and epoxy. The grille was detrimmed and stripped to bare metal and found a dent under the trim. Will prime and then fix the dent. Moving right along on this one. Will start back up with bodywork soon and more priming. On another note, Luke, you will need one inner fender as you can see the one is rusted.
