The kit for the c4 suspension is part number 140-9298. I will need to pull the rec to check what the price was. The best quote i have on the rear kit is $1410.

Nice! I will definitely go with the moroso or the magnaflow. Will you run the 4" round with 2.5" in/out on your blazer? What about a X?

Re: My 70 2wd Project begins!

I found my paint guy!! I went to see a guy today who was recommended by someone on the forum and looks like he will be doing the paint/body work on the Blazer. He was in the middle of a frame off on a 69 SWB, man did it look good. He had just finished a 68 SWB and had 4 more 67-72 trucks in the yard. He obviously knows these trucks. I didn't take my camera but i will next time!!

If you are wanting the body and paint work top notch call
Neil Lea @ rods & restos his # is 256-927-2199. He has a car that is competing for the Riddler this year. I say this because it looks like you are doing a real high quality build and he is one of the best in the nation hands down.

Some progress. I need to determine the placement of the tranny crossmember, but at least it is on the frame!

Everything's looking great! What headers are you running, and how are clearances? They look like they fit quite nice.

Re: My 70 2wd Project begins!

They are Hooker Headers for 2000 F-Body (per your suggestion). I didn't have to cut the frame. I am eager to see how the steering shaft you sent me works?? These headers have all the smog crab on them. Do you think there anything i can do? Or will I have to find another set?

I have a set on the shelf... that aren't coated. They too have all the "extra tubes" for the emissions. I was going to remove the tubes I don't need and then have them coated. Is there a way you can do the same? Possibly return the coated set and exchange them for a set that are not coated, then mod them and send them out for coating? The other options are: to leave them alone; or mod your pretty ones and send them out to be re-coated.

I will be putting together our shop truck this month (same set-up you're running), and if necessary, I will just put together a support bearing bracket that bolts-on for the steering shaft, and will send you one... if you'd like.

I would like that very much.

By the way, is there a set placement (up and down) for your tranny crossmember. I wasn't sure if i used any of the factory holes as a guide.

Re: My 70 2wd Project begins!

It's not intended to use any of the factory holes... you might get lucky!

When installing, just make sure it's square... mark the holes, drill them out, and bolt it up.

Re: My 70 2wd Project begins!

I made a little progress so i thought i would post some pics. Please excuse the dust. I ran the fuel lines and yes they look very similar to 68SS's. That is because I liked his! I mounted 2 - 3 gallon tanks for the Level pro system and started running the air lines. I also started the brake lines. My battery died before I finished pics...so here is what I got.

I made a little progress today. Here are some pics. I would love to get some feedback on the location of the compressor. This is my install in these frames.
