You definately have to remember what you "CAN" and "CAN'T" go over. Like I stated above, my driveway is pretty darned flat for a gravel driveway but now that I have run the truck across it a few times from the shop out to the street I now know its "grated" flat for sure. The control arms take the tops off the high spots

I gotta say though.. for as low as it is it sure does ride nice goin down the road.

Well, around here I can't go anywhere I don't think. I have a inch or 2 roll down off my driveway, and then another inch or two drop off the sidewalk out front, let alone the holes in the road and bumps lol.

OK, if anyone is still following, here are the updated pictures.

I have a L to R lean, not sure if it is the driveway/garage level that is causing it (they are both not level side to side), tire pressure, or suspension related. I will wait to address the issue until I can get it on flat/level ground and go from there.

What do you think folks?

LOOKS PERFECT! as far as the lean, try swapping the springs side to side. I know it's the last thing you want to do but it worked for me

5" front drop...3" spindles, 1" springs, 1/2 coil cut off. Rear is what I would call an 8" drop...flip kit, 2" shackles, and the overload spring removed from each spring pack. My truck had HD leafs, so a flip on my truck would be different on a flip on a truck with LD leafs (because of the difference in the leaf spring pack thickness)...if that makes sense.

Been followin' from the beginning, Jeff.

The drop and the rake looks good. I guess when you get the color on it and finish the assembly, the stance may be a 'bit' lower.
Should look really nice, once it done. It'll be a good example of a real low static drop that's driveable.

In closing, the truck sits the way I like it, and will sit slightly better once I assemble everything and take it for a spin (let the suspension settle in).

Brother. . .....You nailed the 'look'. I love it. What front bumpstops are you going with?

The reason I ask is on mine I was going to use some shorter rubber stops (for a Chrysler product). They were a slightly denser rubber & were about 3/4" shorter than the stock rubber truck bumpstops. But, after I installed them I was buzzing the tops of my 27" tall tires way more than I liked.

I wound up putting the truck bumpstops back in. They only allow about 1" of 'free' suspension travel before contact is made & the rubber starts compressing; but they keep the tops of the inner fenderwells off the tires.

The ride isn't bad on decent roads, but it gets annoying on crappy, pothole-infested, inner-city roads (but that's better than the constant buzzing I was experiencing w/the shorter stops).

I just want you to watch out for that shiny paint!!!!!!!!!!! Keep the updates comin'.

I run 275 50x15's up front and no problems with close to a 5' drop. I have to slow down for speed bumps and avoid pot holes but this is pretty common when driving a lowered vehicle. At speed, cornering and turning in parking lots or drive ways again no problems. Tire size does play an important role in trouble free handling.
