Re: my build
VERY inspiring build. You are getting a heck of an education from those doing the build with you (Dad & Uncle). I hope to do my son's '67 we just bought as nicely as yours. I have some time, he is only 10. His will be Hugger Orange & white. We REALLY want to see pics of the final product... Keep up the good work...

Re: my build
got a few things done today..and we also took somethings out
well first we was hooking up the ac control rods to the switches when we realize one of the arms broke..so we get the aluminim welder out and try to weld it and it dident work so were still trying to think of somethings to hold it together insed of spending 130 dollars for a new one we got some more ac stuff hooked up and we cleans up some more and we got one of the bed sides looking good and in primmer so its startin to move a little quicker |

Re: my build
today was a good day
we worked on the bedsome more and primmered somemore we cut the firewall so the fuse block would fit..and put a few scratches in it then we took the brake booster off and painted it red put it back on and decided we dident like it. so we took it back off and painted it black and we was happy. so we got the brake pedal hooked up to the booster and the proportion valve hooked up and the line on it. and we polished the plate for the radio and heres one juss cause it look cool |

Re: my build
I just read thru the whole build. A wonderful truck in the making. It is nice
to see a young fella want something and wait on it and work for it. My dad lost the battle to the bottle and I never had this type of experience. It was nice to share yours so far. You may or may not know it now, but you and your dad are not only building a truck, your building much more than that with each other. Carry on...

Re: my build
thanks
well today i had to go to school but my dad went to the shop and sandblasted some parts and found some stainless steel and made some mounts for the seats. we also cut the dash and got the radio in.. and yeah thats about it for today tomorrow after i get homefrom school i will put the front bumper on and the lights in it and maybe run a wire or two? and it looks like the dash has a scratch in lhe left side above the radio..but its just the sticky stuff left from taping it off. |
