It's funny when a steering wheel comes off in Moe Howard's hands. The humor escaped me when the same thing happened to me in traffic and a cheezy Grant wheel came off in mine. Don't even think about it. They should be illegal.
I got the wheel on back in time to make a turn and get home, but I went back to the OEM wheel the PO had thoughtfully included when I bought the Jimmy.

Yep the 63-64 tach housing are the pods out of the 57 would work.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Yeah, Ima not post mine. The camper shell leaked back when my FiL had the truck, and the interior has a lot of corrosion you wouldn't normally see in a California truck. The damage was confined to stuff in the bed, so there isn't any real body damage. I'm pondering what to do about that. It'll probably require a new harness that includes the fuse block (rusted all to hell); I want to put in all new gauges and don't want to bother with the printed circuit. The list of priorities changes quite a bit. Now my wife wants an estimate from a shop for engine and trans rebuilds because of my hands not healing well enough after surgery to take the work on. Maybe I can make a case for a whole new truck, which she has commented might be the best way to go. *goes out to back yard and plants money tree*
