Re: How old are you????

48...49 in July. My first vehicle was a '63 lwb Custom Cab with a big back window 283, 4 spd...that was in 1975. That truck now belongs to my son, awaiting another rebuild.

Re: How old are you????

First off my only excuse for replying late to this message is that as per some of our fellow enthusiasts I was born inthe last year of the 1950's. I'll be 49 in May. I got the 66' of mine back in 89 from a widow, it sat for 5 years. Bought it didn;t do a thing but oil and gas for 3 years. The motor conked out and sat out back till two years ago. I replased the 250 with another out of a 76 Nova. She came to life with the original wiring in it!!

I like feeling the road when I drive my truck and I love working on the old girl. I live up here in Idaho, just the other morning I woke up to a morning that regisered at 17 Below 0. I trundle out to the old girl turned on my headlights for a count of ten pumped her like mad and she fired right up, with absolutely no heaters attached. Yeah... I think Ill always love my old chev.

Re: How old are you????

I couldn't count that high, only have so many fingers and toes. I asked my kids and they eagerly reminded me I'm 44. (a little to eager I might say).

I got my 66 from grandpa when I was mid 20's. He bought it brand new at the end of 65. Starting my first ever total restore soon, as soon as I punish the kids for making fun of not remembering my age.

Re: How old are you????

I'll be 33 this month...

I've had my '65 for 5 years this april, and I've wanted a '64-'66 since I was 13 or so. I like the triangle vent windows... is the only reason on the year model preference.
