Re: 1969 GMC Pickup
Thanks! I'll get a video of it running and post it. She sounds really good. Trying to figure out the alternator bracket set-up and needing inner fenders. Soon. This has already cost me WAY more than I wanted right now...

Re: 1969 GMC Pickup
Finally got some more done and will be doing some more next weekend. Kyle threw down some primer on the outside of the doors, as well as the cowl. Will be doing the rockers and floors next weekend as well as filling in the holes down the fenders and bed.

Looking good Robert. Must be nice to have the truck one color again, as mine is not. Can't wait to see it in person.

Re: 1969 GMC Pickup
So for some updates... Haven't been able to do much as of late...But I did accomplish some three inch exhaust and new wheels and tires (well, new to me)...The fuel line is plenty clear of the pipe, made sure of that. The rims are 16's with some small tires. Trying to get the rockers and floors done but stuff keeps interfering...it'll get done soon, hopefully before the Magic Dragon show at the end of April....

Re: 1969 GMC Pickup
We should try another smooth cowl when I do those floors. It should work alot better with the front clip off and bolted to the cab.

how hard was the cowl to do.. and is there any difference in building a chevy engine opposed to a ford.. i built a 347 stroker for my dad im almost finished up on it then i gotta do a 350 for grandpa.. should be about the same right?
