you were asking about using a 69 door on your 72? Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I believe that your 72 door panels may not work unless you change the window regulator and inside door handle stud, I think the 72 has longer shafts on both to make up for the thickness of the door panel. I could be wrong, but was just a thought. Also the 72 door has a recess with a screw in it just below and to the rear of the vent window, I have a 69 and got a 72 door for it and noticed these differences.

UPDATE
I finally got one of my christmas presents on it got my new lock cylinders on New Master Cylinder New kick down cable New speedo cable Got my door panels back on Re-tapped my head Did some touch-up painting Got My new Grille emblem on And thats all for now I have $2200 to spend on it and here is what im thinking about doing Maybe get a crate or rebuild my motor Get a 4/6 static drop kit from ece Relocate my tank |

Sorry guys lol Heres some more updates and I'll try to get some pics on tonight
Got My new fender, Grille shell and grille on, my new bumper, and did some body work on my door I would have pics up if some people would start putting the cord for the camera in the right spot |

you're lucky i got my truck for free yet doesnt run and doesnt look nearly that good im also doing it with my dad and my older brother it blew a piston through the oil pan

FOUND THE CORD! And i finally turned off the date stamp and the camera died and i didnt notice it came back on until i got home

I guess being grounded isnt so bad because i have got alot done this weekend
I put on new brake pads, changed my wheel bearings, Primed my new fender and bed to it would match a little better, and painted my top. Oh yeah I forgot to say that Im pretty sure I got a job now. Its a body shop called Darrens, my vo tech teacher told me that he was looking for some help and i went up there to talk to him and he seemed like he liked me and would prob hire me
Now i will finally have my own money to spend and i might actually get more work done so I dont have to ask my dad for some money |
