Re: Rear bag mounting pics please
how much clearance from top of axle to bottom of notch do you need to lay frame on a 29" wheel? (on a 60-66 )

Re: Rear bag mounting pics please
bigger than that notch has, but these trucks will hit rockers before the frame.
just measure from ground to bottom of rocker then go to the back and figure out how big of a notch you need. |

Re: Rear bag mounting pics please
yeah I was thinking about it and just realized that I have that issue with the rear step again.
ground to rocker was about 10.5 inches with the frame bottomed out on the axle. Last edited by Dustin07; 11-27-2008 at 05:29 PM. |

Re: Rear bag mounting pics please
If you put that big of a notch in it the it will sit rocker, at least back part of rocker untill you get front done. But then you still have to think about the rear fenders.

Anybody have any idea on what the compressed height of the dominator 2600 bag would be?

Re: Rear bag mounting pics please
Firestones are shorter collapsed because of the lack of internal bumpstop...

Re: Rear bag mounting pics please
Yeah you might want to have a good game plan on what your goals are before you start on something big, i know sometimes they change as project is going but you dont want to have to redo stuff when you can see you could have had a better idea from the start, and you already have that part done

Re: Rear bag mounting pics please
Very good pics! Helped alot
?? Do you think in is a must to C notch the frame with your rear bag set up like that??? Do you have any new pics with the frame done?? Just wondering if I can get away with no C notch without making the bags taller useing the round steel pipe.
