Re: 67-72 truck lovers ages....

34 here. I remember my grandfather hauling loads of dirt from a Nemadji River in WI to use to landscape his yard, it was an old burnt orange 67 (Anyone know if Orange was a factory color in 67?), and that rig has stuck in my memory since the first time I saw it. Now I am established, have a wonderful family, a nice home (Thanks to my wife) with a garage, and was able to buy my first 72 in Sept of 08, this ones for you Gramps...!

42 until the first of the year at least...

Have had my 71 K20 for about 4 years or so and finally next spring I plan on tearing it down and doing a mild frame up. It's been a great work horse and sorely deserves the attention. Also have a 70 C20 that I'd like to do something with, but the 71 comes first...

Aw Cripe! I already checked the oldest group so I could be a 1%er. I was the first one on this poll.I must think I`m a 75 year old who feels 25 which averages out about 50.Plus,if I checked 25 then my story says I got my truck 10 years before I was born. So,I may feel young but a grey fox in the mind and an old race horse in the legs(One`s 73 and the other`s about 53.I walk funny).

Re: 67-72 truck lovers ages....

I'm in the left out group too. I'm 59 and have loved these trucks since they were new. After 5 or 6 years of searching for the right 67/72 at the right price I bought Ole Pinky in 2001 and she will be in my estate.

Dudes in their 30's and 40's like these trucks because we all grew up with them when we were kids. My Dad loves his '58 Apache because his dad had a new one when he was a kid.
