Re: Seen anything unusual?
It used to popular to do pickup truck wreckers like that in the 70's and 80's. There's a guy in town with a little junk yard that has a late 60's Ford wrecker that is like that.

Re: Seen anything unusual?
That`s a Notsolonghorn.They`re pretty rare.It`s a bobtailed longbed.Makes`em tow better and is a poor man`s shortbed?
Hey Koolky, did that thing have a top on it?It looks like a Jimmy with an earlier front end and doors off a pickup.I wondered if it had a 1/2 top to look like a truck. The doors won`t work with a K/5 top.

Thats the way ppl use to shorten the LWB beds back in the day. saw too many of them hacked like that. I guess it was easier to cut just from the back and not in front of the wheel wells too

Re: Seen anything unusual?
I love Carlisle. I can't wait to go back this spring. I went there the first time three years ago, and somebody had set a 68 Chevy or GMC truck fender by the trash and it said free on it. For some reason, I didn't pick it up and later on I saw somebody else had grabbed it. I think about that every time I go up there.
