Re: 1980 short box
not much of an update but i figured i would post these pics any way.
cleaned up and painted some parts for my motor. now all i need to do is drain the tranny and paint it then put my new filter in and then the motor will go back in when my old man gets some free time. i also orderd a new sun roof 2 weeks ago and i still havent gotten it and im kinda pissed, hopefully i dident get ripped off. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() also took some beauty shots of the truck. i am still dying to go lower its really bugging me lol. all just wate tell its done and if i still dont like the ride hight all cut the front coil and buy a flip kit. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by 80chevyshortbox; 11-29-2009 at 11:44 PM. |

Re: 1980 short box
we picked up a parts truck today. bought it for 50$, it came with a "running" 2 bolt 350 and 350 trans and a bunch of outher parts. we gutted it out took all the parts we need and then we sold it for 35$

Re: 1980 short box
where is the frame bent, it looks like its on the passenger side between box and cab, but not bad, for now you could always do some shimming to the body mounts to get it all lined up. But judging by the pics it looks pretty minor. I've seen them where the top of the box is hitting the cab and a good shop can straitin it really reasonbly
