Re: 69 c10 -- first project!!
super pumped, jus picked up a bandsaw off kijiji for $300. the previous owner was a custom knife maker, he installed 2 other motors for slower speeds for cutting steel.
and i found a local steel distributor that i can get the DOM i need to finish the trailing arms, cost me $15 for the steel, now just need a place to thread it for me. |

Mine is faded in this pic, but is currently sitting in a paint booth being sprayed that exact color sweet man, yeah thats a really nice color. mines the light green aswell, cept after some investigating noticed its maroon underneath. really like the light green though. |

Re: 69 c10 -- first project!!
just gonna throw this out there...... should i back half? then when i think about back half, why just build half a frame? should i build a full 2x6 frame?
the more and more i think about the power im gonna put in this thing the more and more i think its probably not a bad idea. but is it overboard?? |

Re: 69 c10 -- first project!!
rainy day, and a good lazy day. painted the 12 bolt and did some grinding on my newly revamped cab mounts(the old mounting holes were pretty oval/stretched looking). now im gonna go lay on the couch and sleep off this hangover.

Re: 69 c10 -- first project!!
back halves are for folks too lazy to make the stock stuff work.
My new bullet on the hose should be 1200 to 1500hp.
