Re: 20 & 22 inch wheels

Here is the deal. The tires I am running are 275/45/20 up front and 275/45/22out back. The wheels are incubus 20x9 and 22x9.

As far as the drop setup. I started with a stock C20 frame. I added DJM 3" lower control arms and I cut one coil off of the springs up front.
For the rear, the truck started with 8 YES! 8 leaf springs and a massive 1" thick overload spring. I removed four leaves and the overload spring. Them I added DJM's 4" rear drop kit. The kit includes 2" drop shackles and 2" drop spring hangers. So thats how I got to the current ride height.
I have owner a few trucks that have been lowered in the past and the ride quality of this truck is excellent. When you are driving it, it doesn't even feel like a lowered truck until you throw it hard into a curve. You just don't have the swaying and body roll of a stock truck.

I am working on posting pics on the project thread soon. I will have a photo history from start to finish of my project and will answer any questions along the way.
