Re: Just a Teaser...New Paint
Oh, I see that now. I have to get at a funny angle and then my moniter kinda shows it. Nice job to the painter, from all I can see in these pics.

Re: Just a Teaser...New Paint
That is sweet. The ghost skulls are off the top.
I'm a big fan of browns and oranges. If that brown looks that good on a monitor I bet you could taste it in person.

Re: Just a Teaser...New Paint
The bottom color change was a great choice. The two look great together and it doesn't look dated like the beige did.
Great job, can't wait to see it competed. |

Re: Just a Teaser...New Paint
The white made a huge difference, very nice.
I am interested in the Root Beer paint code. I painted my bike sheet metal a House of Colors Candy Root Beer, looked fantastic, but then tried to paint a car the same color and it tiger striped real bad.

Re: Just a Teaser...New Paint
Fantastic! It looked pretty good with the gold and simple pinstripe. It is OFF THE CHARTS with the white and graphic between!! Much different paint schemes and the later is much, MUCH better IMO. Very nice!!

Re: Just a Teaser...New Paint
What an improvement over the avatar pic! Can you buy the center part of the grille in all chrome? Maybe you could find a place to plasti-chrome the grille and you could do the door handle buttons as well.

Re: Just a Teaser...New Paint
Nice Burb! I think you should paint the middle grill the same cadillac cream as the lower half of the body.

Re: Just a Teaser...New Paint
I like it! Great tip for the grill pieces. May have to give that a shot sometime, not on mine, but sometime. Looking great though!

Re: Just a Teaser...New Paint
WOW! Turned out great. Can you get a clear front corner marker lens? I think it would blend in better.
Now get that grill finished. Since you pointed it out, it's bugging me...

Re: Just a Teaser...New Paint
Looks killer!!! I do have one thing bugging me though, (forgive me, I paint) does the gas cap match in real world? Pearls and metallics don't always photograph right. Sorry, just have to ask. But it looks great! And give my compliments to the one responsible for the layout, looks well placed, and the paint looks to be laid out well.
