Re: Normy71
Thanks for the interest my Dad passed away in July and I just seem to have lost the go. Dad did bring me a set of Doug Thorley headers up from the US before he passed away.
He was very interested in my build also. I plan on getting back into my build soon. All your builds on this great site keep me very interested. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Normy71
If maybe your looking for motivation to get started on it again. You could change your routine of the build and build it for your dad. Make it like a memorial and put in memory of your dad on the tailgate or something. Just an idea to help out.

Re: Normy71
That came from a young gun. Glad I could help. Once you get going you'll get a lot more motivated through it. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, with your build.

Re: Normy71
great project! nice to see the newer engine and trans combo. Im doing a 72 that I had shortened as well. check out my thread, perhaps some of my box picts can be of some use to you. I cut the box in such away that theres no seam in the middle at the front. if I can help in anyway let me know. keep up the good work.

Re: Normy71
Next was the passengers side sheet metal after lot of head scratching I decided I need to make my cab lift.
The cab tilt works quite well, one person can handle as long as you use the wooden cab dolly underneath for a lever to lift it up.

Man you did alot of work, getting all that rust cut out and replaced is a big milestone, the rest should go easier.
