Re: My 63

Nice progress. My kids would love that "Tow Mater". I've seen people lay a sheet of plastic over stripper once it is applied. It keeps it from drying out, so it keeps working. It looks like it works pretty good when I see them do it, but have never tried it myself.

Re: My 63

I am glad to see you went from bag over axle to bag over bar. My best friend has a 4 door blazer and it is bag over axle. Worst riding truck EVER!!!! I would rather be in a car or truck with heated and cut springs before I would take a trip somewhere in that blazer.
I know there are few options with a s10 blazer but I learned to never ever do bag over axle.

Sweet truck!!!

Re: My 63

Cl08, you talk to Nate PB and that's what he recommends. Must have just been a really bad set up.

Sucks your crank is bad, but I guess it's time for a high pro one.

Re: My 63

Bag over axle set-ups work well when the right springs (bags) for the application are used.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
