Me too! Typically we only get a couple of inches of snow at one time and it is melted away the same or the next day. We got close to a foot this last storm so it took it longer to go away. Now the ground is soaked and super sloppy. I'm hoping for some sun this week, but who know.

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"
I saw the new pictures and thought, "it looks like the snow stays around there as long as it does here." That is really going to look different once you drop it to where it needs to be. How is the interior cleaning up?

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"
Lol
the boys pulled out the crappy carpet. I need to cut the bucket seat stands out of my parts burb so I can put my blue seats in correctly. The brown seats in there now are just rigged in and don't sit level. My next step is gonna be swapping my doors and the entire wiring harness so I can put my good carpet in and get the interior back together. Then the stereo out of my '80, then the 'burb grill swap, then the TBI swap, then lower it, then new exhaust, and then, and then, and then :lol I also found out that my trans yolk leaks. As you can probably tell, my driveway is pretty steep. So with the truck parked with the nose up the drive it has been pissing ATF on the driveway. So now I have it backed in so it doesn't leak until I fix it

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"
Gotta weld in my seat brackets, swap the wiring harness, finish up the front end, adjust the bed, put my carpet and pad in, then hopefully drive it some before I swap intakes and get the TBI stuff on. I'm not real happy with the sub buckets though. I will probably go the OJOE interior route eventually.
Lower it some more and some wheels will be sometime in the future. I'm just ready to drive it!!!

thanks! It was nice, sunny, and mid 50's Saturday..... Sunday sucked though...snow in the morning, melted off by late morning but cloudy, windy, and mid 30's. Just me and my oldest sun out in the driveway with our hoodies on. The neighbor stopped by to tell us how hardcore we are priceless! thanks!!!! You still need to swing by and see it in person

Looking good Joe. Your Saturday progress trumps mine for sure lol. I think the beverly hillbillys did the previous body work on my cab. Everything but granny in her rocking chair was stuffed in the cab corners.
