Re: 67 short fleet
matt i would tak ethe covers and foam off nicely.....mine had the frame rusting, it has pits..... i would inspect the frame to see if it is rusting and take care of it. i am not talking about the frame that the 3 seats mount to but the actual seat frames under the foam.

Re: 67 short fleet
If you are looking at the picture of the gold and white truck that is not my truck. It is just an example of how I want mine to look. It happens to be bagged. If you were looking at the pictures of my maroon truck. I removed the springs so I could use a floor jack to see where I really want to end up on a drop. I will probabaly end up with a static drop. 4.5" to 5" in the front and 6" to 7" in the rear.

chevy71c10 did. The inner door repair panel is not even close to what came from the factory. Pictures will come when I am happy with what I have accomplished.

Re: 67 short fleet
I have not touched truck in months. I filed for divorce on June 30. I think I will still have the truck when it is all over. We will see. Priority is the kids and trying to keep the home. There is a ton of stuff to do to the truck that won't cost anything. Just my time. But why bother if I loose it.

Re: 67 short fleet
I think my classics will be fine. They were all purchased prior to the marriage. I can't wait to move forward with my life! Money is going to be tight, but my attitude will be much better.

Re: 67 short fleet
I found this on craigslist for $160. I had a friend buy it for me. It was $172 shipped to his door. At least I will heve a tach dash when it is all over! I'll pay him when the divorce is all over! I thought is was a deal.

Re: 67 short fleet
I just did the 72 accelaertor pedal swap today on my 68. The pedal installed great, but the cable was to long. I had to buy a rebuild cable from autozone to have it link up. there was to much binding in the cable. I also picked up one of those wiring harnesses from a juck yard for $25. already assemblied works out great.

Holy Crap! I did real good then. How do you tell if the smaller ones are a normal bulb or a bright bulb? Or was there a difference?
