Re: 1966 4x4 suburban
I would like the transfer case coupler sleeve thats in it
If the sleeve is not wore out. It goes inside the adapter.between the trans and case..and is 3 3/8 inches long and 2 inches round..10 spline.. It is a small easy part to ship, but a job to get it out. |

Re: 1966 4x4 suburban
I just bought a 61 chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 that someone has lifted. They threw away the original steering box, they cut the bracket that holds the steering box, got rid of the rod that runs from the pittman arm to the steering arm on the front axle. (The steering box bracket is held on with rivets.) I also need all of the front and rear U-Bolts. BUT ALL OF THIS DEPENDS ON IF THE 3/4 AND 1/2 TON TRUCKS ARE THE SAME. Maybe someone can let us know.
I am also interested in the 4x4 shifter handle, bracket, and the rod to the transfer case if the first person in line does not take it. The PO butchered it also. |

Re: 1966 4x4 suburban
hello all I have been looking into some of my old threads and cant believe I didn't get out a reply to this one. the truck is gone well what happened is it was at a friends house I began to cut it up when all of a sudden he started freaking out over some **** that had happened between us years ago and told me to split and never come back I grabbed what ever I could at the time and told him I would be back for the truck with my trailer in an hour. so the truck was locked in his yard and a year long battle went on and eventually he scrapped the truck one day never did find out were it went. I am pissed because I needed parts of the ho in the rear for my 71 that cost me big in the end. I have a few things left I have the 4 speed hydro clutch steering column and master that needs a rebuild, cluster, I am pretty sure I have all of the side trim that went around the windows, I have the windshield trim, somewhere are the v6 badges and the grille is in ny at my parents place. I know I had the 4wd shifter and I cant remember were its at, and have the front split bench that is complete but needs a recover. after sandy I moved me and whatever wasn't destroyed out to nj and am still looking for a few things. once again sorry I swore I had put something out there to let you guys know what the deal was

Re: 1966 4x4 suburban
I have bits and pieces left. I have the cluster, grill steering wheel column and pedal assembly because it had hydraulic clutch and I figured that would be good for some one using a modern trans. I have the windshield chrome. and the chrome that goes around the side windows. the side glass but the frames are junk. the front split bench, and some other odds and ends I am sure but that's the most of it. let me know I will do good on the prices and make it worth your while
