i think my drop will look a little better if i put a bigger tire on it. dont want to go any lower. hard enough to work on as it is. cant get a floor jack under the front.lol

easy if you have two floor jacks, the way I do is lift the front rear spring hanger then with other jack on the same side lift up the frame around the front body mount then remove the jack lifting the spring hanger to the cross member and lift away

ok guys. bussy weekend. sat. my birthday. worked on the truck half the day.droped the motor and trans in with help of my 2 friends. went to the beach. then (with non alcoholic drink. )

looking good bro. i see you made good progress over the weekend. won't be long and we'll be smelling smoke (phrase we used to use at the shop that i used to work at when we replaced engines) too bad about the paint coming off. good luck with the rest of the build.

yea i took my birthday off and a few friends pitched in for a few hours.
and the paint i got a some of that color left im going to try to blend it in. idk it will be better then how it is now

I wondered why I hadn't heard anymore about the 400, I didn't know you started a build thread for it. Aside from the paint the tape pulled off everthing is looking great.
That looks like the factory color, you might be able to make a decent repair with some Duplicolor rattle can if you prep good and paint thin. Looking forward to seeing it move. |
