Re: "The 72" build
yup! thanks for that. one air cleaner ive always wanted was the little edelbrock one that looks like a mesh but they say they are fire hazards. i see them on tons of cars and have never heard of an actual fire but i dont think ill run one just in case

Re: "The 72" build
well i worked on the project today and got the carb, alternator, and heater hose fittings on. It was all going smoothly until i tried to put my spark plugs into my angle plug heads and one of them hit the header tube. and the other ones are perfect except this one. I have a picture of it and i would be very thankful for any advice on what to do!!

Re: "The 72" build
Ooo buddy good luck there.
On a side note-That edelbrock carb probably wont tolerate ALL the fuel that stock pump puts out. It'll probably flood and drip on that new aluminum intake. I know its easy to spend another guys money but you should relaly think about a diff carb or a edelbrock fuel pump OR a fuel pressure regulator. Edelbrockk doesnt like more than about 5-6 psi. Engien looks great

Re: "The 72" build
spend some time on the manifolds maybe a lil port work or at least wire brush them and paint them with nice paint (i didnt and regret it now)
