Re: 72 c-10 shorty
got the rest of the cab sprayed and officially finished as far as paint work goes. got the inside of the glove box door painted, found a small little dent on the face side so will fix and paint today. the doors are finished now other then the white around the tops of the doors. hope to finish off these little things today and get the steering hooked up so I can move the truck to my buddies place to start buttoning up the cab and get the glass in.

Re: 72 c-10 shorty
I'd say we should have a contest of whether I can get my mirrors on before you get your inner fenders in but they way you're moving along I'd say I'm already beat! That orange really pops in the pictures, I'm looking forward to seeing it in the metal sometime.

Re: 72 c-10 shorty
It was my birthday yesterday, so I got to decide what I wanted to do. we did a family dinner with my dad and his lady friend. my brother in law is up visiting so after dinner we ended up out at the shop! brother in law and I ended up getting all the wiring plugged in under the dash. down to a dash pad and some heater cables and the underside of the dash is finished!! cant wait. need to start cleaning up more parts and get the inner fenders painted.

Re: 72 c-10 shorty
well ive gotten more done. got the inner fenders painted and ready to go in, ordered an aluminum rad for it on monday, got the door rubbers on, got the brake booster and pedal installed, wiring is all in, ordered tinted door glass, wasnt wanting to go tinted, but back window and windshield are factory green tint. still need to line up the front fenders and get the cowl painted, bodywork the cowl tonight and take to work tomorrow.and last but not least got the fan shroud all cleaned and painted. just about time to get the box together and painted.

Re: 72 c-10 shorty
decided to try and repair the old grill surround and see if i could make it go one more trip. I body worked, paint striped and primed it. and for fun sprayed some aluminum paint on it as a guide coat for when I block sand it out. if It works out great, and if not im sure it will get used as wall art at least until someone wants a painted surround.
