Re: NorCal Cruiser
I had a running truck now i have a "Driving" truck. Got the brakes bled out, configured my 3-speed tranny linkage, and replaced the harmonic balance.
Yes, I'm driving it up and down the street as you see it, sitting on a speaker box with a big grin and a hearty wave to the neighbor's |

Re: NorCal Cruiser
I did that with my GTO when I had her apart for paint. It may have taken you longer than your original scheduled build, but the end result will still be worth it. It's looking great so far.

PAINT!!!
Picked it up yesterday. Base coat with a matte clear. Pictures with cell phone don't do much justice-very happy with how it turned out. Bed goes in this weekend. |

Well, a few more up-dates. Got my outer and egg crate installed.

Re: NorCal Cruiser
Sitting on tires and wheels. I went with 215/75 on my stock 15" steel wheels.
powder coated wheels...Its a lot of orange. I originally was considering a gloss black wheel. |

Re: NorCal Cruiser
Not sure I got a good match on the color of the wheels also. The orange on the truck is “hugger”.
Wheels look a shade too light. Opinions please |

Re: NorCal Cruiser
Truck is looking great!
And it's sure nice of you to let your neighbor keep his Prius in your driveway too.
