That van is cool. There are 4 of the crushed car castings so far with 2 more rumored to be coming. They're all 4 based on other existing Hot Wheels castings. I bought all 4 just for the crushed cars. I wasn't concerned about the monster trucks they came with. LOL

Re: Good week for my collection

Nice. I never knew about that JL Blazer. I have a few of their first ones. HW made a nice 72 Blazer casting they have only released a few limited editions in. I wish they'd do a 4wd version of that... or another 2wd

Re: Good week for my collection

Got a couple more recently. Some of the older generation may remember the EZ-HAUL. I have seen a few of the 69-70 C-50 box trucks like these.
Enjoy...

Yep, EZ Haul. I remember. I have one of those toys, too. Yours are the only others I've seen. I guess it was a give away toy

Re: Good week for my collection

More nice scores! Do you guys leave them all in the packages in your collections? I have quite a few 1/64 tractors and couldn't leave them all in the packages. The rare ones I did but they sure are harder to store and display.

I leave most of them in the package except for the hot wheels ones. On those I have a separate display I have been putting them in but I usually have more than one and have packaged copies of most.

Re: Good week for my collection

Cool collectible. I'm not familiar with who they are.

I hope to go to a toy show this winter held by a tractor and steam engine this winter. I don't think they had it last year. Hopefully it will happen this year. There is a guy there with a great selection of Greenlight Chevy Trucks. Nice to pick what you want and not pay shipping. There is also a guy who builds cool customs. A lot of 4wd stuff

Re: Good week for my collection

The Chmielewski Funtime band was a somewhat famous Midwestern polka band back in the 70s. Probably before that too. Based out of Minnesota.

It's been awhile since I found a new hot wheels 69 truck on the peg. Got a pair of these at the grocery store tonight.

Re: Good week for my collection

The Partridge Family bus comes to mind as well. I see the Rubic's Cube theme. It's art!! I'll get one to put with the Easter issue '69.
