Re: 72 cheyenne super parting

A/C pics for jessewebb & 99-ls1-ss. a/c control with cables, all levers good, diverter is good but top piece to supply center vent has been glued to it , all 3 vents in good condition, S duct is cracked, i`m sure the heater core needs replaced, outer box housing in good condition, has a little rust on the bottom where it mounts to the firewall.

orange cab pics- a/c control has 1 lever broke, diverter and s duct condition unknown, driver side vent ?

not going to separate.

Re: 72 cheyenne super parting

I didn't get the notification that you posted photos. Sorry to take so long to reply. All of them look good. I just don't know which one is right for the swap and small balancer. (It had a lwp nd large balancer when I bought it.)

I also need the two phillip head screws that hold the trim cover under the column on, as well as the ignition trim bezel if it is in good shape, and the rear axle brake lines if they aren't bent up or rusted.

Re: 72 cheyenne super parting

could you post a short list of what has sold?
I am interested in parts, but I don't wanna bug you about stuff you've already sold. And if no one has claimed the door panels I'd like them and I would part with the wood grain inserts as I see several people are wanting just those and I don't like the wood grain.

Re: 72 cheyenne super parting

wideside72- your balancer should be the same, long or short waterpump. do you have a pic of the front of your engine?

mcnugget- doorpanels are still available, $100 plus shipping

the only things sold are glove box door, vent and side windows, misc cables.

Actually, the balancers for LWP and SWP are different. LWP has the 8" balancer, which is too large for the SWP to fit because it is closer to the engine. I know because I had to buy a new 6 1/2" balancer when I went from LWP to SWP in order to get the WP to fit. I have the timing tab from the LWP set up, it is too far from the smaller balancer and I blieve the timing mark is different.

Re: 72 cheyenne super parting

my hollander shows the same balancer #6272222 from 70-76 on trucks. 73 up would be a long waterpump. here`s a pic of the engine i just pulled from this truck. 8" balancer swp.

All I can say is the 350 had an 8" balancer and a LWP. I pulled the LWP and tried to install a SWP I bought from NAPA for a 72 350 and it would not mate to the block, the balancer was too big, so I went back to NAPA and told them I needed a balancer for a 72 350 and he brought me the 6- 1/2" balancer.

I guess what I need to know from you is, do you have a timing tab from an engine with a 6 1/2" balancer?

What kind of shape is the lower black/chrome trim in? What do you need for it or do you have any decent "driver condition" pieces laying around?
