Re: SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED... sneak peek

I don't have all the final numbers yet, but I am hoping to keep them priced the same as the 67-72 ones and that is $559 shipped

Most fiberglass parts dont fit worth a flip and then you have to bodywork and bodywork to get them smooth enough to paint, these you can put in and run with the gloss black gel coat or scuff and shoot !! they are smooth and ready to go !! $100 of that $559 price is shipping and boxing, the box is 22x29x51 that is a big box to ship ! $459 picked up / no shipping
I know how it is starting a business from scratch. When I started Billet Accessories Direct in 1998, we spent an unbelievable amount of time doing R&D on product and we knew we would never see that money and time again. However, that is what it takes to bring a product to market. I sold my half of that business in 2008.

The good thing about a free market economy is that one mans opinion of your pricing structure is just that, one mans opinion. The market will let you know if your product is worth what you are asking. There are 2 ways to skin the retail cat. One is high end, low volume and the other is market based pricing and high volume.

It appears to be a nice product, I wish you well.

Re: SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED... sneak peek

thanks i sure appreciate any input, i am brand new at all of this , i am just a regular working dude that thought other people might be able to use what i was building for myself ! I am always open for opinions i started selling them Right around 700 for the 67-72 body style and just sold a couple sets then went down in the 600 range and then my last drop to $559 shipped has seemed to work well, basically 459 for the fenders and 100 shipping coming to the $559 total, that seems to be a price that is working for now !

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't B.A.D. (Billet Accessories Direct) out of business? I understand you sold out your part of the company, but I assume your still in the know.

Just my two cents on the pricing....

I think for all factors involved, I could see someone loosing money on these at the price their at. What I mean by that is that there is a lot of overhead that goes into something like this that most people cannot understand. I have no issue whatsoever spending my hard earned dollars on this kind of engineering. I have not seen them in person, but judging by pictures I can say they look amazing!
