And now the cab gets taken for interior. Twin City Upholstery will be doing the interior with black leather. http://www.twincityupholstery.com/ABOUT%20TCU.html

Re: 1972 LS3 C10 build
Nice build. How well does the console follow the contours of the dash? This is something I want to buy.

Re: 1972 LS3 C10 build
We did sheetmetal work for more support for the shifter. Go to http://www.classictruckconsoles.com/...etoverhead.htm What you see is what you get.

Granted, I am running a Lokar shifter on my 4L80E, so I don't need the support. Just want a better arm rest Thanks again for the info. |

Re: 1972 LS3 C10 build
I have an '82 but plan on using the procar rally seats and making a center console like yours with a shifter. How are you attaching the center console, I'm trying to figure out how to attach it and what to make it out of. Also could you show how the shifter hooks up, I have a 4l70e but I think it should be about the same, just trying to get some ideas. Thanks for any help. Your truck is going to be awesome.

Re: 1972 LS3 C10 build
This is the first race car I built during high school in the late 70's. I bought it for $650 and did most of the build myself at night in my Dad's shop after work. The car ran low 11's in the quarter and mid 9's on nitrous. This picture is taken at the AHRA Nationals in San Antonio, TX.

Re: 1972 LS3 C10 build
This is the first car Rick at RJ Race Cars build for me and my partner. It was a 1986 Pontiac Trans AM IHRA Pro Modified car that we changed over and started running IHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stock with. I always had a passion for Pro Stock and still do.

Re: 1972 LS3 C10 build
This is the second car Rick at RJ Race Cars built for me and my partner. It is a 1992 Lumina IHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stock car. The last year I drove in 1993 it ran 7.0s at 200 in the 1/4.
