Its just me but I think Elkhart would be the best place to open a RV Shop. If thats what you want to do. I know there is lots of competition here. I know I go to most of them Big and small. But most everything you need is here. 95% of the suppliers, distributors, and transports are here. Plus the overwhelming number of Skilled labors that are without work such as your dad. That is why this is the RV capitol of the world. plus I think the way things are looking we will also have one of the biggest RV show in the country here (in the next few years) to show off your product and get dealers to buy. Like I said This is all just my opinion. but to build RV's anywhere else would just cost more and cut into profit margins.

I know what you mean but we will be opening a service shop not building them, plus my dad knows people all over the country for everything. Plus if we do this it won't happen right away, we're not going to jump in this and hope it works. We are going to plan this out.

that makes more sense. a service center would thrive in a tourist community.

Exactly, and generally down south there is no RV service shops, and when there is they generally don't know how to do a lot of the work or how to do it right. (NOT SAYING PEOPLE DOWN SOUTH ARE STUPID).
