Re: B's 70 2wd Blazer
Hahaha Sorry for making it more confusing. I work at an Audi dealership so if you want I could try to get a good pic of a car that color.

Re: B's 70 2wd Blazer
Actually, that'd be pretty cool! I'm hoping for a sunny weekend so I can get out and check the colors in person too, but the more reference the better!

I'll get some tomorrow. I was going to snap some pics today but it rained last night and all the cars are dirty and the sun never really came out.

Re: B's 70 2wd Blazer
No worries and no rush...I got a close up of the Nebula Grey Pearl today while on a walk downtown. I liked how dark it was and the car was pretty dirty too.

Damn your phone takes some great pics! Now I have to see this one in person...just a few minutes ago I went to look at the Lexus I found yesterday because it's sunny out and thought I decided it was it...your pictures make me realize I HAVE TO check out that Audi.

Re: B's 70 2wd Blazer
1st...sorry cuz there's no pics for this update, but there' a date for it to go to the paint booth...it's a week from this coming Friday. For the paint, I bought the Lexus' Nebula Grey Pearl yesterday. Today I ordered a set of bumpers, weather stripping and all the felts for the front windows. Lastly, the interior guy picked up the seats today and said they'd be done at the end of the week. I'll post up the pics of the interior when it gets back!

Re: B's 70 2wd Blazer
Nothing crazy...I really wanted houndstooth, but couldn't find a black and grey material so it'll be just like black houndstooth seats but with preforated grey cloth inserts instead. He's going to firm up the padding and all too. That reminds me that I need to order new backs for the fronts as well...it's been an expensive weekend! It's all happening so fast right now...

Re: B's 70 2wd Blazer
Gotta love a good tax return...haha! Nah, the top will get shot with a Satin Black Al's liner this summer. The plan was always to smooth it out and fix the sags...but now I'd just rather shoot the darn thing as is since the sags are the only issues with it...that and done with sanding for a while...

Re: B's 70 2wd Blazer
So surgery on my hand set me back some and decided to have it towed to my friend's shop to finish off the rest of the mechanical details. These are just pics of it back on the ground...it's been 1 year since the wheels have been mounted, so it was a nice sight. I also tossed one in there of it being towed.
This was last wednesday, and since then the brakes are bled (guess I just don't know what I'm doing because he said it bled just fine) and no leaks in the lines. The water pump started leaking through the weep hole, so tossing a new one in. The PS lines are leaking, so he's going to tighten those up. There was a leak in the tranny at the speedo that he fixed. Next is to fix the couple leaks in the air lines and then he's going to do the exhaust and I'll be able to drive it home.

Re: B's 70 2wd Blazer
Reckon I can come pretty close to guessing what the seats will look like in place.

Re: B's 70 2wd Blazer
Thanks for all the compliments guys. Coming from all of you really means a lot!
@ Phat Tony, It was your truck that made me comfortable going with a perforated cloth insert...next your going to see some real panels that will also be very familiar looking. Anyone know how much is reasonable for getting the rear bench arms powder coated? I painted them and they are already pretty scratched up.
