Re: Simple Green
So i changed up the exhaust this friday, bigger glasspacks and ran the pipe out to the back. It had 16" packs changed to 24", and the pipes exited in front of the tires and now they point under the bumper. The sound is cleaner and has a better in cab sound.... I will have to make a Video someday..
I know its unorthodox to run pipe under your axle but it works and doesnt hit or rub anything aired all the way up & down and angled side to side. I made the pipe under the axle removable in case i need to drop the rearend out or whatever... |

Re: Simple Green
Did you do all the work yourself, and around how much time did it take you to get it looking so good?

Re: Simple Green
Nothing wrong with the tail pipes run that way looks like a good use of space. I wish I could run a tail pipe on my dually.

Re: Simple Green
What bags are you running? I may be swapping my Dominators out because 1 had a very slow leak from day 1 and now 1 has a really bad leak. If it is the bag and not something like a mouse chewing through my air lines I may switch to Slam Specialties. Sucks though because those Dominators ride sooooo nice.

Re: Simple Green
Well i just can't leave this truck alone, I think i was just bored from missing cpp & Delmo's drop in....And i love Tequila, Damn....Next time...
So i tore the rearend out for a complete rebuild- new Axles, Posi, Gears, Brakes ect... Should have it all back together soon.. I just needed a more freeway friendly gear. With a TH350 and short tires and 3.73's it was too much rpm's for me to cruise. So im going 3.08's, Oh and 5 lug now just incase i feel the need for a wheel change Be back soon.... |
