Re: 60-66 Truck Calendar Nominations
I think Mark B's truck is a good candidate for the calendar also.

Re: 60-66 Truck Calendar Nominations
Looks like we are at 32 including Strodder's truck (I'm not sure if we were counting incomplete ones) I know they are never complete, but you all get it!
Someone should double check my count though. This is going to be an awesome calendar!! I have looked for a good one, with our trucks, and haven't been able to find one anywhere, now this comes along, and almost all of my favorite trucks are in one place. I can't wait! |

Re: 60-66 Truck Calendar Nominations
Thanks to those that suggest mine might be suitable. Although I have a lot of photos of my truck, I haven’t taken any in the last six months and not many of the rest have calendar quality backgrounds. I haven’t found many neutral settings anywhere near where we live. Even though there have been changes since this picture was taken and there’s stuff in the background, it remains my favorite shot of the truck. The lighting just turned out perfect:
This has a more natural background but makes the truck look nose heavy: These are probably the best balanced shots but whether they’re all that interesting is a matter of opinion:

Re: 60-66 Truck Calendar Nominations
No disrespect at all meant Strodder. I just wasn't sure if it would count. Yours is WAY further along than mine. I have been watching your thread for quite a while, and have enjoyed it. As a matter of fact, your thread is the reason I mis labeled my step-daughters thread. Hers was a 65/75 build, and I was thinking about yours and typed 65/73. LOL

Re: 60-66 Truck Calendar Nominations
Hello Clyde65. I'd also like to nominate Clyde65's dads truck, if I may. I've seen his truck, it is sweet. I haven't seen but a couple crew cabs, mainly road crew trucks. They are rare.

Re: 60-66 Truck Calendar Nominations
Well, I haven't counted. But I see someone posted that we are at 30+ trucks. If so, I will post a poll tomorrow. I gotta get up at 4 in the morning, so I don't have enough time tonight. Hopefully, all 30 nominations have pics... otherwise, it may not be too late!

Re: 60-66 Truck Calendar Nominations
I for one would love to see the photo below (or one like it) included in a calendar. I take the whole purpose of a wall calendar to provide interesting subjects that inspire enough repeated interest to draw in the casual viewer for an entire month of display. There are so many details to study, I know I wouldn't get bored looking at it every day for a month!
