Saw the white longbed in Thornton, CO, three houses down from the guy I bought my '64 stepper from. By the badge, it also looks to be a '64.

The red and white one I snapped at a red light in Las Vegas last week. It was immaculate, so I had to grab a pic. If the owner is on this forum, I just want to say nice truck and I hope you don't mind me sharing.

The 64 looks like it has a fairly straight body on it. I really like the two tone roof on the 65, but Ive never been a fan of the smoothies on the wheels. There are so many rims that would really do more justice on this truck (just my opinion). Im considering doing the two tone roof theme like the 65 on my truck. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Ive considered this also. Its in the mountains about 4 hours from me. Im kinda shocked at the condition of the sheet metal being its in the mountains of NC. But it looks complete which is a big plus. Parts are available, but not cheap for these bodies. Ive only seen a couple of pics of it, and have requested more. The running boards even look fairly straight and unrusted. The tree growing in the bed cant be more than a year or two old, so hopefully he just parked it in a low spot and its not sitting on the frame for too long.

A nice two tone 65 GMC thats in the county next to us. I haven't seen a two-tone job like this, but it actually works nicely. Is for sale too.

Hes got it on craigslist right now. Says 2nd owner, asking around 5k I believe. Check fayetteville nc craigslist 1965 GMC. Claims the 305 V6 largest one ever produced by GMC, but I thought they had a 351 V6 also.

I think what looks like a tie down bar on side is actually the rare factory bed rails, normally mounts on the top of the bed rails.

haha...I have to agree. Im always being told no too. I have been given the go ahead on a suburban if I can find a good starter. Looking for a 63 right now. If she changes her mind on the 65, I can go take a good look at it for you if needed.

Did find a nice panel, but some serious rust issues w/floor and no title. $900 is his asking price. No engine/trans....but extensive floor work. Interior isn't bad, still has the buddy buckets too. But Im really wanting a burb not a panel

Mike sent me these to post on his cross country trek. He found this in the parking lot of his hotel in Cave City, KY off exit 63. Appears to be a 1ton w/6cyl

haha....very cool. Hes being sent to CA from NC by the USArmy and sending pics on the way. Its definitely different. And leave it to us bolters to get pics of the same truck.

Nice old 62. Looks like a corvair car in the background also. The glass all looks good, just looks like its been sitting awhile.
