Re: The BCC No Limit build
The crossmembers that come with kit are pre-drilled for the tank mounts. But regular nuts and bolts are tough to get to, so we use a 'clip-nut' for the tank mounts. This way the tank can be pulled out easily, even with the bed on.
Speaking of the bed, the kit comes with all new bed mounts for the raised floor - on a metal beds. So, for a raised wood bed, the front crossmember goes up with the wood, and a 4" riser is needed. the other mounts are standard. Finally, an overall shot. It has been on this lift for a while now waiting for wheels/tires, and for me to finish it up. If the bed-cab gap looks a little tighter than normal, it is. The new rail kit moves the bed forward 1/2" to clean things up a bit. This also puts the tire in the miidle of the wheel opening.

Cool build.
Looking forward to some more detail on the steering column and column to rack connection.

Re: The BCC No Limit build
Hey Waisted Income, I saw you build thread over on Pro-Touring.com - look good.
Now that we have wheels and tires, we're wrapping it up. We were going to go out to A.M.P. tuesday night, but it looks like rain. RTTC this weekend, so maybe we'll do final testing next week. I like to carry 4 or 5 gal of air for an air ride truck. Seems like if you have any less, you get caught waighting for the compressors a lot. With the raised floor, there is some extra room for tanks, but we still want them hidden. I went with two 2gal. aluminum tanks. One on each side, the link together plumbed through the valve block. From under the truck you can see how the fit. From the wheel opening, they are visible, which I don't like. So, we made some covers out of 3/16" ABS plastic. It's strong, durable, and it soaks up noise. These bolted into the bed floor crossmember, and then to the bottom of the bedside via a small 'L' tab, and act as the fender brace.

Re: The BCC No Limit build
Raising the floor also means raising the wheel tubs. This is easy. We bolt in the tubb to the floor with a few bolts, and then mark the new hole locations. Remove the tubb, and drill and install nut-zerts into the inner bedside. Then bolt the tubb back in. Up front we have RideTeck Shockwaves installed for the air ride. Out back all of the install is finished, note the small piece of fuel line around the air line. This works as a safety barrier for the air line. We use this trick anywhere the air lines can come into contact with an edge or rough surface.

Re: The BCC No Limit build
We're using a RideTech E3 system. I like the memory 'on start' feature.

Re: The BCC No Limit build
Here's a couple of teaser picts. The last hang up seems to be 5 lug axles for the rear. Back Order status. Here's a few teaser picts to hold you over. RTTC this weekend, check our facebook for some live updates and video. Also, check out "Are you Faster than a Redneck", friday night on Speed Channel.
The standard Wide ride front brake is 12", drilled /slotted. While not the true rolling stock, this is a look at the stance, a bit lower than RH at the moment. Full drop is another 1" down, at that point the drive shaft would rub the floor. We have bump-stops in place to stop that from happening.

Re: The BCC No Limit build
wow looking awesome. I can't wait to drive the wheels off this. Being able to toss the keys to anyone and not worry about the air-ride system was important to me. I've had some sketchy setups in the past.. so the little things, like bumpstops are necessary. Im surprised those wheels tuck up in there. wow.
