I was told they were out of a mid to late 80s Honda Car. They fit very nice. I wanted a set of buddy buckets, but at 800 plus cost of reconditioning them if you can even find them I really cant afford it. I wanted the seats to fit bellow the window line and have good side bolsters as well. Ill have to build a center seat and brackets but steel is cheap and I enjoy tinkering with metal anyways.

Re: 1967 C10 SWB Fleetside Project

I just traded a rear view mirror and some brake calipers for the ones I have. I think they look real nice for less than 50 in trade.

Re: 1967 C10 SWB Fleetside Project

Well I just bought a set of BUDDY BUCKETS! I can not believe how hard these are to find in a price range I can afford. I haven't seen them yet. I guess the passenger side vinyl is pretty tore up but im told the seat foam is in good shape. I found a set and was such a good deal that I pulled the trigger site unseen. Im supposed to be getting a pic message any min and then ill drive to pick them up on Tuesday. If they are too far gone I may put them up for sale, but if not id sure like to keep them.

Re: 1967 C10 SWB Fleetside Project

post pics of the new seats when you get a chance.

To bad you don't live closer, I'd probably pick up those other seats and help offset the costs on those buddy buckets.

Here are the pics of my new buddy buckets. They are in way better shape and way more complete than I expected. Especially for what I paid for them.

Nice find. Congrats.

What did you end up paying for them if you don't mind me asking

Awesome build I will be following for sure. Long story short I bought a set of doors for $20 then traded a guy my doors and $100 for my buddy seats. That was a pretty good day

Picked up a very nice new repop core support from gmc pauls. Very nice fit and way easier then repairing the old. And more mock up.

Re: 1967 C10 SWB Fleetside Project

Tried my hand at my first sheet metal repair. I replaced a rotted out section of my steel bed floor with an original piece I got from a board member a while back. Man you guys and youtube/tv makes it look a lot easier than it is sometimes. I must just need practice... My gap on one side got a little wide unfortunately. Im surprised that it does look ok though.

Nice to see you got it back. I had no idea you sold it actually, but still glad to see you didn't give up on it.
