BUT (there is always a but lol) some of you guys are used to other car and truck boards where the language, attitudes, pics, etc etc are like "Hey, we are men and we do and say whatever we want, and if you don't like it we are gonna give you an internet beat down"

Guess what? This is a family friendly board, and we like it that way. I like it when my grand daughters or grand son can come sit on my lap and say "What are you looking at grandpa?" and I can show em without fear of having to edit anything.

And for the new buyers and sellers. You can buy without being a subscribing member, but you cant post a WTB or a for sale add without. Its a rule for a reason.

You agree to these simple things when you sign on ... did you read the rules?

Just tone it down a little if you are used to things being done differently, I really think you will like the laid back, friendly, easy going attitudes around here ... and welcome aboard!

I love this board as well because its all great people with little to no bad language!

I'd also like to add, that if you're reading this, you're somewhat new (or not), and you think it may be about you, just assume it is. You'll be warned, then you'll be banned. Pissing matches and belittling other members is not tolerated, no matter how right you think you may be. I have personally hung out with the owners of this site and lots of the moderators. Very cool people. This place is awesome and we all intend, and will, keep it that way, so if you didn't bother to read the rules when signing up, consider this a warning

Well said!

Re: Hey New Guys ....

I've been here for awhile and am in the 60-66 forum...but Thanks CG for starting this thread.....This is my favorite site and I have very much enjoyed being a member here. I have run into rough language and girl pictures which I do not care for. I prefer to respect girls and treat them as sisters in Christ. But I don't say anything because we all have different views, and who am I to say anything. If someone posts something I don't care for I don't read it. I find it easier then reporting it, because I try to stay on the good side of members here. But Thanks for posting this thread CG. T.J.
