Re: 66 Build
Getting ready to prep hood I noticed several pin holes in the front of the hood. Ended up replacing the nose panel.

Re: 66 Build
Thought it was time to get some more shots up. Got one coat of color down. Did not like how it looked - in process of sanding it back down. Also drilled a hole through the back wall installing the interior. So I get to fix that too.

Re: 66 Build
And all this time I thought I was the only one who drilled holes through things... Sorry that happened,,, but glad to know there's others who do it to!

Working on the bed now. Started engineering the tail lights- back-up lights (See my other post - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=656956). Planning to fill the stake holes and get rust patched in quarters. Also got the Front bed panel done.

Photos of the bed and tailgate. Repairing rust on wheel well area. Also modified the tailgate to accept a 2008 Chevy locking latch assembly. I am waiting to hear from Craftec on a tonneau cover for a long bed as well.

Re: 66 Build
Hi all. Lately I've spent a lot of time on the box. Inside is all bed liner in body color. Been working with my friend and neighbor on the walnut wood for the bed. It is going tp be killer! Ground about 1/2" of thickness of body filler out of the driver rear box side. would have replaced the rear section but I was able to hammer it back decently. Also planning for the filler door to cut in a large hole in this panel.

Re: 66 Build
Been working on several items lately. Finished up the bed wood in the box. I think the walnut is outstanding! Tailgate and rear bumper, rear bumper filler panels installed/adjusted. Grille assembled and front bumper mounted & adjusted. Wiring harness from the 87 connected to the 66 lights and accessories. Getting started on the cutting and buffing now.
