Re: 1957 Chevy truck laying rockers NVR2OLD

So the guy I bought the truck from decided to use it he said of wood some speaker carpet as a rug in the jamb. So I tore the rug off use some lacquer thinner or mask the jam off and here is the end result.

Thanks guys. I've been so busy getting back to everyday life. Wifey has me doing all sorts of stuff. lol

I used a small angle grinder with 3m sanding discs. I only had to do the back. The front I used spacers on.

Re: 1957 Chevy truck laying rockers NVR2OLD

Thanks guys. Just working little bugs out of it. It's so cool to pass cars on the freeway doing 80 and having people stare at you like wtf!!!!

Next todo is the god awful seat. Ordered material for it. My upholstery guy is gonna fix it. It's terrible.

Re: 1957 Chevy truck laying rockers NVR2OLD

We a little curve ball thrown my way. I'm a union lineman by trade. I work for contractors who do work for pseg Long Island. They don't want to put any more money into there system so it's travel to Massachusetts time!! So I had to quickly frame out the back for my tools and such. Going to put it to the test with trips now. 4 hours from home. Omg
