I am going to have the instrument cluster out Thursday evening and get some good pics for you. The belts are soooooo dirty, remember, this was a well drilling truck. I will get you some pics of them as well, remember, this is not how I keep my personal stuff. Thanks.

The linkage is part of the booster set up. Let me look through some of my stuff and see if I might have one of those. Thanks, Fred.

I'll try and think of other stuff.

Hey Jim. I should have your carb pics and numbers Thursday evening if that will work for you. Work & real life have been hectic this week. Thanks, Fred.

Fred, no rush at all on the upper engine and carb parts......I know you are on it so whenever you get to it is fine.

No need if it's truly part of the booster than I should get one when I get a new booster.

Probably No need if it's truly part of the booster than I should get one when I get a new booster.
Also what method do you plan to ship? Fedex/ups require different shipping addresses to get stuff to my door...(I know so convenient)
Thanks, Tyler

Is a speedometer head all you are needing? I have one of those already removed if it is. If you are wanting a whole instrument panel, I can fix you up with one of those as well. Have another member asked about this one & the seat belts. Thanks, Fred.

Just the actual Speedometer head / gauge.

My ham-fisted helper was trying to get the needle off and broke the shaft on mine.

I just bought a 68 C20 pickup as a material hauler. It's not a restoration project, by any means, but it does need a few things to be a better rig to drive. Here's what I could use, if you have them.

Cosmetic condition is not that critical to me, unless rust or corrosion is so bad it would impact function.

Driver's side door handle, (mine's missing the thumb button, I assume it's new handle time and can't be fixed with a button.)

Manual pitman arm or power steering gear box and pump for 6 cyl

window handle(s)

good window regulators both sides

decent window channel both sides

accel pedal, (mine's missing, so a half way worn out one would be better)

brake and clutch pads, (clutch is missing, so a half way worn out one would be better. will only replace the brake if I can find one not 3/4's worn out!)

No great hurry. The only thing of any urgency is fixing the pitman. It also has some leaky wheel cylinders, so with all of them combined, it pulls right, then left, and dives in the same direction at the same time from the bad shocks, then repeats the swerving cause of the loose pitman; stopping is a bit like a carnival ride.

Add in the manual brakes, and you're wondering if the ride is actually gonna stop at the end of the ride! yee haw... (I havn't found the guts to drive it on a highway, yet. Just on surface streets, to and from Home Depot for materials.)

GeoD

Thanks,

GeoD

Let me know f you got any of this stuff and how much you want for it and I'll get you some $$.

ignition switch bezel

Right side heater duct in dash

glove box, (missing mine, so decent better than nothing

rear shocks, (you should this baby bounce!)

working radio that'll fit the holes, (doesn't have to be factory, just a fitter.)
Quite a list.... I like it. I have a lot of what you are looking for. Let me sort through boxes, get pics and prices for you. Thanks, Fred.

Re: Parting this original 70 GMC 3/4 ton, starting Sunday.

The wife just rolled in with her SUV we are taking on our anniversarry getaway Friday morning. No windows, no power seats, no interior lights and no door locks. After 45 minutes of chasing electrical issues, it is fixed. That was close,, she was not looking too happy. Anyways, I got the lighter and wiring pulled as well as the speedometer head I had stuck back in our stash. Got a pic of the instrument cluster, but it was dark..
