Re: The "I'm back" build thread. Long bed this time

I definitely know the feeling of a slow build, beautiful radiator by the way. Is that all factory fitment too?

Yep all factory fitment. Was really surprised by the quality of the radiator. Even tho all the online reviews were great, until you see it in person and see how well it fits, you just don't know

That's for sure. We fought that with our Murray replacements but have found them fitting fairly well too luckily.

Thanks for these pics! I had the Champion cc367 and it was 2 inches too short, though it said it would fit. I purchased the 369 yesterday when I ran across these pictures. Your installed pic is the only one verifying factory fan shroud and retainer fitment. I'm curious, how well does it cool? I purchased the 2 row with 1 inch tubes to be safe, my 3 row cooled fine at idle but the radiator got much hotter than the copper/brass it replaced.

It works perfectly. Keeps the engine nice and cool at highway speeds and doesn't change a bit in town with long periods of idling. I'm glad the pics helped. Let me know if you need any from another angle

Ok a couple of small updates. I changed the funky hub caps for the original style with the yellow van bowties because of there nice shape. I also upgraded the top of my antenna

Any updates? I'm sure you've been busy with your new home, but I did spot a booster that isn't installed yet. BTW, that Champion radiator fit like a glove with the oem shroud and brackets.

Haha funny you should ask. I'm glad the radiator fit for you as well as it did for me Anyways I did clean up some of the engine bay. Soon I will add some paint and some other "good look" goodies. Hears the booster

Nice! Have you had a chance to try out the brakes yet? I'm curious how well that booster works.

Couldn't be happier with the booster and how the brakes work It'll be that much better once I upgrade to front disc brakes

Pulled the bench seat out to install a new set of seat belts and came across this. So cool to have the originality.

Then I had to test out the new pedal pads with some buddies. Great times cruising around NorCal's camanche reservoir.
