Thats my objective. Im not concerned about it being OEM correct, I just want it to blend nicely with whats there.

Re: Refining "Sierra"

I thought the hardest part of build the storage/speaker box was design and fit. I had no idea how hard it would be to find material to cover it with. I never reliazed how many colors and textures were in this interior till I tried to match one. The seat has two different colors of cloth on front, and another color of vinyl on back. The plastic molding and dash are another color, and the carpet is different too. What the hell was GM thinking in 1984?

All of these colors are just a shade or two off of each other so the go together. Trying to find a material to blend with the cloth AND vinyl wasnt going to be easy. This is what I came up with. Lets see what it looks like in a larger quantity.

Re: Refining "Sierra"

Ken, Looking at the KSC SW11 online it looks like it requires an installation kit ? The reason I ask is I just purchased a KRC 3001 receiver & a KAC 501 amp. I know the KSC is powered independently but how does it tie into the receiver ? Thanks. Calvin. P.S. hope to see you at LST !

I'm not sure what you saw, but no installation kit is necessary with the Kenwood deck. The amp in the sub will work off of a high or low power signal. The Kenwood deck has a low power output, so we will be running it from there.
