Thanks for the links. I'll look the parts up for all the details.

As for the job offer, it would depend on the offer if it was me. I've been in the Arlington store. It's a mix of knowledgeable & former O'Reillys/Autozone help.

What would you be doing for them?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Sales. Inbound from home.
We do pressure washing and landscaping. Miller Svcs, LLC. Went full blown LLC in the beginning of 2020. We do a few other things but nothing crazy. For the most part, like 70%, Im at home anyways. Most of our stuff is done at night and my yard crew runs during reg. hours.
We do ok with the contracts I have, but I decided I wasnt going to take a wage from the business and just reinvest. I get 90% disability from the military and TBH, thats really all i need. When i was laid off in 2014 and in 2016, I rearranged my budget. Have been good ever since. Only real downside to the whole thing was the contributions to my IRA.

If it works within your schedule.... Money is money. I'm guessing they require x-hours being logged in as a minimum?

Doesn't sound like a bad gig then. As long as there's not some sort of 'quota minimum' required.

Spoke to the owner over at HPI customs in Canada and she is supposed to see what is going on. Dawn, the owner, says they put together one with a T56 and they are gonna get with me in the morning.

Nice build! What rack and pinion is that?

And what brand plasma cutter did you use that you complimented? I was thinking of getting one for the QA1 front install I have to do to cut the spring perch.

Harbor freight titanium? The green one. Rack and pinion is western industries from performance online. Rebuilt ford to fit the c10 chassis.

Here ya go. I did wilwood pro spindles and the qa1 calls for the 73-87 tie rod ends.

Steam vent installed and steam vent fitting drilled and tapped into stock water pump. Thermostat removed and now she’s ready to be run on the dyno! She’ll get prettied up and done after dyno and no more mods to be made.

Little before and after and some pics from blast. Steps cleaned up. Welded from the back side and treated with phosphate etch primer. Now… they’re solid.
