Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
Here are some pix from original owner (my PO). She soon discovered the horse trailer was the tail wagging the dog— never actually hauled horses with it. She was a very nice woman who kept impeccable records of my rig ( or as she calls it “Mr. Truck”)

special-K: Not in that pile. But down the street, I grabbed two pieces of Ralph Lauren Polo Sport luggage, might have gone on only one trip, perfect condition. There was another suitcase, but it was ugly. Lots of BBQs and other metal objects, am tempted to grab all that and sell at recycler. This was after the second load, doesn't look like much more. Guessing a 1/4 to 1/3 cord.

Firewood
THANX ! .
I spent most of to - day trimming an elderly Tangerine tree and was wondering if the wood would smell nice, I don't think my chimney is safe anymore (1923) so I didn't save any of the wood I cut up . I too have a hard time passing trash piles when I see them ~ my super heavy duty branch loppers came from some old man's detritus after he died, I have tools & Motocycles I've picked up on bulky item day.... When old folks die 'round here they tend to empty the house and curbstone close to everything .

BTW, day before yesterday I was following some back roads to get to a big fire I spotted and ended up on this dirt road where the county had cut some trees and there were a few cut to length rounds of locust (my favorite) laying. I stopped right there and made space in the back of the Suburban and commenced to scarfin' . Luckily on Monday I emptied it out and only had things I needed that day in the back. It's split and in the shed!

I think I can hear your truck thanking you for making good use of it. Good looking truck. Looks like a good ole lumber yard

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
It is a good old lumberyard, Amish operation without forklifts. They load and unload everything with a overhead beam with air powered forks. Nice bed repair killer

The machine is around around 14k, and the trucks close to 10k alone.

can't thank him enough mar-k pine kit with non polished ss strips and bolt kit and new rubber shims.. fit was excellent! even in an old rusty bed, squared right up.. thanks! gettin ready to do the red longhorn out here in ca.. I was going to try painted since truck is all red but the missus wants the epoxy and varnish soooooo much work and I really don't want any debate on using it like a truck, ugh!

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
Killer your floor is beautiful, but since I work the Longhorn, I'll paint mine as original. My floor is still all there, but the time is coming.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
Posted once before on this thread. Haven’t hauled anything with my ’67 for a while because I’ve been doing rust repair on the rockers and cab corners. Got it put back together enough to take to a local show in Yakima, Wash. in August hauling my ’62 Cotton Cougar British trials bike. The bike was sold new in Sunnyside, Wash., by Evel Knievel when he was a salesman at Pomeroy’s Cycle Shop in Sunnyside, before he was famous. The bike was raced locally on flat tracks and in trials races in the area. Don Pomeroy owned the shop at that time, and later moved it to Yakima, and his son, Ron Pomeroy, has a graphics business in Yakima and did the graphics on the door of my truck. The car parked next to my truck is my ’40 Chevy Master Deluxe sedan, the Hot Rod Prototype.
