My sills still had the "protection" in place. A small 45 degree gusset about midway that was spot welded to the sill and the step. I was going to reinstall but have now decided I will be copying your design. Nice. Dug

nothing on these trucks requires a long board long board will do nothing but make flat spots on a convex surface try using a long piece of hard foam that will conform to the curves of that roof truk never saw a hard block for sanding, foam blocks for every surface
