Mine works fine. You can call Lokar directly and order a longer rod. (I think it's ok to say that on this site....)

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)

What wiring harness kit did you use for the cab? What about harness for the Engine?

Thanks and GREAT BUILD... gives me a ton of motivation for my build.

I used a Speartech Fuel Injection harness (it came with the pedal to tach module harness) and a Painless factory body harness (I think the part number is listed somewhere in this thread.) Let me know if you have any other questions

Coming together....I'm sure it'll be an amazing feeling when that front end sheetmetal goes on for the final time. It was with my blazer even though I've only had it a short time...

Hey Rob,

Any reason why you didn't round off the passenger side firewall???....I think portbuilt has a template for that now.....I'm just sayin'

Thanks, I appreciate it. I really love the way your truck is turning out. Looking forward to seeing it on the road too.....

It will be there eventually, I'm just not sure what year....., .

****

Wiring, wiring and more wiring...... Believe it or not, I actually enjoy doing the wiring, BUT, it takes forever to make it look right. I'm pretty meticulous and like to tuck things in pretty tight and make them look like they belong there. I've about wrapped up the rear section (air management, fuel pump, lights, trailer harness.....next I'll be moving forward and working on my fuel injection and the engine area wires....Here's a picture of the mess.

Looks great! I really like the red valve covers too!

Just curious if you are running Vintage air setup? When are you going to start on that install? I want to see how you do it. Also, are you going to run a rear air? You think a single air setup will cool all that area? Keep up the good work!

I'm going to run the Vintage Air Gen IV. I'll start that install after I finish most of the wiring. No rear, just the front. I think with tinted windows and all the insulation that I'm going to put in, it should be fine.
