Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"

I've posted on their products before but if you haven't used any of Adam's Polishes brand detailing supplies, they are by far some of the best! It's all I use on my truck now. They work incredible, easy to use, dustless when you wipe off wax or polish. Amazing stuff!

This detail spray is incredible as well. I use it on my truck constantly, the glass, paint, chrome, plastic. You're able to spray it on in the sun with no streaking!

Do you or have you done any machine applied polish (or wax) on the truck, or just by hand? If machine, what do you use?

Hey man yes I have machine polished! Using the Adam's paint correction for some spots that needed it along with the paint correction polish. I used an orbital polisher to do it. I recently got a Rupes 15ES from Adams, it is so smooth to use, it's incredible!

The Brilliant Glaze they have I apply by hand, the shine it gives it unreal!

I figured you were using something really nice by the looks of your paint! The high end polishers/buffers (Rupes, Flex, etc) really make a big difference.

Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"

This is from the Pittsburgh show a few weekends back, won this show in 2015. So for the 2016 show they featured the truck on the show display information plates, along with the show flyers. It was a very cool feeling to walk around the show and see my truck on all of these.

Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"

Yesterday I hit the truck with some of Adams Paint correction and Finishing polish. I had a few scuffs and swirls to remove. Tonight I'll hit it with a coat of Brilliant Glaze and then top it off with some Americana paste wax for a little protection.

I'll watch the Adam's website and forums, they run sales and specials a lot. They also do these "Mystery Box" sales you pay $30 and they send you a box of product, and every now and then have a few boxes worth a couple hundred dollars. Summit racing is also a dealer, I've gotten some stuff from them when I needed it in a hurry. The sales staff at Adam's is amazing if you call and talk to a sales rep they can answer all and anything you ask.

Even with my truck being a trailer queen since its been finished, you wouldn't believe what the clay bar pulled off of it.
